Will Lacey, DMD
Dr. Will Lacey is a Cum Laude graduate of the University Of Georgia. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry in the top of his class in 1995. He has completed many advanced courses in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Lacey has great appreciation for Continuing Dental Education. He continues to invest in his skills and those of his staff far beyond minimal state requirements.
He is married to Milly Lacey and has two children, Lilly & Liam.
He and his staff have completed required coursework to become Invisalign certified. Dr. Lacey is a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and he is the former President of the San Juan Basin Dental Society.
Christine Chapin, RDH
My name is Christine and I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor's in Dental Hygiene and hold a certification in Laser Therapy. My husband Joe and I relocated to Durango several years ago and we have completely fallen in love with this town and all it has to offer. On any given day you will find us outdoors hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, or traveling. I could honestly say that I couldn't imagine being part of a better team here at San Juan Smiles. I am very passionate about my career. I make a daily commitment to my patients to provide them with the most compassionate, gentle, comprehensive care possible. It is important to me to build relationships and trust with my patients and to create an inviting environment so together we can achieve complete oral health and happiness.
Stephanie Marcum, Patient Care Coordinator, CDA
My name is Stephanie, I am a Patient Care Coordinator/Dental Assistant for Dr. Lacey. I have worked here at San Juan Smiles since April of 2007. I have been a certified Dental Assistant since 2009. I absolutely love what I do here! Our team is AMAZING! I love working with and helping the people who come to see us. I have lived in Durango for 20 years. I have been married to my husband Damian for over 17 years, and have three wonderful boys, Garrett, Justin, & Dawson. We spend most of our free time watching and supporting our boys in all of their many sporting events. I feel very fortunate to live in this wonderful town, and to work with some amazing co-workers who all have the same goals to help our patients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile!
Heather Klatt, CDA
My name is Heather Klatt. I was born here in Durango, CO. I am married and have two beautiful children. I have been a certified Dental Assistant/Patient Care Coordinator since 2000. I have also attained an additional certificate from the DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) in 2001. I have the perfect job because I love helping people achieve better health and a beautiful smile!
